Financial Statement Analysis for Lenders Workshop
April 28-29, 2018

Bank Financial Statement Analysis is a companion course to the Foundational CLS program. It is specifically designed for those bankers, regulators, auditors and bank lenders who have been away from commercial lending for a while, want to 'brush up' on their financial statement analysis, or are new to the field. In addition, it's an excellent way to acclimate oneself to the full ABA programs. This optional one-and-a-half-day program starts the day before the ABA Foundational Commercial Lending School.

Bank Loan Simulation

Unlike bank simulation programs you may have encountered before, SWGSB's unique Bank Loan Simulation (BLS) combines case studies of actual bank loans with commercial bank financial reports to create a decision making environment similar to that faced by commercial lenders. It also differs from a traditional case study method by providing experience in dealing with many risky loans in a minimum amount of time as well as incorporating a competitive loan pricing environment. The combination of risk assessment and management and high price competition creates a challenging lending environment. The simulated environment is an ideal opportunity to build professional skills and mental strength.
