Bank Program Location, Dates, Tuition and Housing

The Bank Operations Institute is conducted each fall at Southern Methodist University's SW Graduate School of Banking in Dallas, Texas. Headquartered at the Collins Executive Education Center, this top graduate school of banking is renowned for its bank officer training, leadership development and financial management and lender programs.

The location is an easy 30-minute ride from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport or a short 15-minute ride from Love Field Airport.

  • Tuition: $1,975 (payable to IBAT)

Housing & Parking
Banking participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own housing. A low group rate has been negotiated at the Magnolia Hotel Dallas Park Cities at 6070 North Central Expressway, Dallas, Texas, 75206 (across from SMU). The hotel reservations line is 214-750-6060. The room block is under "Bank Operations Institute." Bank operations participants can also make hotel reservations online.

Breakfast is served daily at the hotel (for only those staying at the Magnolia Hotel Dallas Park Cities). Lunch and refreshment breaks are served on campus. Everyone is on their own for dinner, aside from the planned events. A list of restaurants is available from the hotel's front desk.

The Magnolia Hotel Dallas Park Cities offers complimentary shuttle service to and from campus each day. Parking is available in the SMU Binkley Garage – across from the SW Graduate School of Banking at the Collins Executive Education Center – for a daily fee.

Cancellations
  • Cancellations received before September 24, 2018, will receive a full refund, less the $125 nonrefundable deposit.
