Southern Methodist University's SW Graduate School of Banking Announces 2018 Graduates
Dallas, Texas—July 2018—The SW Graduate School of Banking, Southern Methodist University (SWGSB-SMU), held its 2018 commencement on June 8th for Class 59, the 59th class to fulfill the requirements of this graduate program renowned for its dynamic faculty, challenging curriculum, and exceptional student body from throughout the world. Cynthia L. Blankenship, vice chairman and corporate president, Bank of the West, gave the commencement address; Robert S. Kaplan, president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, was this year's keynote speaker. The top graduates received more than $20,000 in merit-based scholarships during their three years at SWGSB/SMU.

The SW Graduate School of Banking is very pleased to announce that Robert S. Kaplan – president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas – will deliver the 61st annual SWGSB Keynote Address on Thursday, May 31, 2018.
"As the thirteenth president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Mr. Kaplan represents the Eleventh Federal Reserve District with distinction” SWGSB Foundation President and CEO S. Scott MacDonald, Ph.D. said. “His wealth of experience gives him a strong voice on the Federal Open Market Committee in the formulation of U.S. monetary policy. We are excited to introduce this outstanding international leader to our SWGSB participants this year."

SWGSB has a new "beta" product – just for you! This new tool generates your Uniform Bank Performance Report (UBPR) in an Excel spreadsheet file that you can use for planning purposes. It's an excellent step forward in ease of use. Future enhancements in the coming months will include graphics and high performance peer groups.
