The SWGSB Commercial Lending School in partnership with Texas Bankers Association is a transformative program that enables loan officers, credit analysts, credit risk professionals, portfolio managers, and commercial lenders to rise to leadership positions in banking with advanced credit training.
The SW Graduate School of Banking delivers premier executive education that shapes the next generation of banking leadership. Recognized nationally as a standard-bearer in the industry, the school equips high-performing bankers with the strategic insight and forward-looking perspective required to lead complex financial institutions and strengthen the communities they serve.
The SWGSB Assemblies for Bank Directors attract aspiring, new, and experienced directors from across the country to discuss the latest issues affecting the industry. From nationally known authorities on corporate governance to leading experts on risk management, our assemblies provide the knowledge to execute board duties with confidence and intelligence.
SWGSB’s National Certified Community Bank Director’s Program (NCCBD) addresses all areas of bank directorship, from duties and responsibilities to the essentials of bank finance.
This three-day program on the SMU campus provides aspiring, new, and experienced bank directors with the resources and insights necessary to reach their full potential as directors for their community banks.
Workshops for Bank Directors are also offered to complement the Assemblies for Bank Directors and the Certified Community Bank Director's certification. These workshops provide additional learning around specific issues in the current industry landscape. Because workshops are updated regularly, directors may participate often. These workshops also meet the CCBD certification requirements for additional training or re-certification.
