Emerging leaders and experienced financial professionals—including regional presidents, commercial loan officers, branch managers, credit analysts, cashiers, mortgage lenders, consumer lenders, operations officers, and state and federal regulators—gather each summer for this nine-day leadership development program that propels careers in the financial services industry.

Jeffrey R. Schmid, a graduate and former president and CEO of SWGSB and president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will provide the address at a graduation ceremony on Friday, June 7, 2024, at 1 p.m. Schmid leads a workforce of 2,000 people located in offices in Kansas City, Denver, Oklahoma City, and Omaha, and provides an essential leadership role in monetary policy.

“As a graduate of SWGSB over 35 years ago, I can assure you this school changed the trajectory of my career and made me a more effective leader,” Schmid said.

“We’re pleased to have Jeffrey R. Schmid provide our commencement address.
