Southwestern Graduate School of Banking students and graduates have the unique opportunity to earn their MBA from SMU Cox faster and save up to $26,000.
For SWGSB graduates admitted to one of the five MBA programs at SMU: Full-Time Two-Year MBA, Full-Time One-Year MBA, Professional MBA, Executive MBA or Online MBA, the SMU Cox School of Business now grants eight graduate credit hours (equivalent to four MBA elective module courses valued up to $16,000 in tuition and fees) on a Pass/Fail basis. This credit is awarded only to SWGSB graduates from the two graduating classes prior to the student's admission to the Cox School. Current SWGSB students enrolling in a Cox MBA may apply their SWGSB credit to the MBA program as they earn it. The credits will be treated as general MBA elective credits and will not count toward any specific area of concentration. Additionally, all SWGSB students and alumni (not just those graduating within two prior classes) admitted to an MBA Program at SMU Cox will receive a $10,000 scholarship.
