The recommended prerequisite is three to five years’ experience in the financial services industry, regulatory agency, or business or agency affiliated with the banking industry, as well as a strong working knowledge of finance and accounting.
Courses are taught by faculty with decades of experience, with additional industry leaders brought in to supplement learning and development.
In addition to class sessions, SWGSB offers unique programming opportunities, such as the Living Case Study and BankCEO. These simulation experiences take learning beyond the classroom and present students with hands-on training. Participants will analyze and study a real-world bank, propose changes, and interact with top management. This approach to learning provides students with the understanding of what it takes to lead a financial institution in today’s competitive marketplace.
